Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President Natalie Givans is the capability development leader for the firm’s Assurance & Resilience (A&R) team, which delivers information assurance and IT security capabilities and service offerings to the firm’s cyber markets.

Ms. Givans’ teams provide security services integrated into the firm’s CMMI, system engineering, and acquisition lifecycles. The major components of A&R include security programs, policy, and compliance; security architecture and engineering; cyber security operations; and mission assurance and enterprise resilience. She also maintains a personal focus on the civil market with an emphasis on health.

Currently, Ms. Givans is a member of the Booz Allen Excellence Awards Committee and Women’s Leadership Initiative. She is a former member of the firm’s cyber campaign, focusing on the business development and market collaboration segment as well as leading the collaboration with Booz Allen’s defense cyber business. She served on the firm’s Defense Market Leadership Team and Defense Thought Leadership Advisory Group.

A member of AFCEA International since 1986, Ms. Givans currently serves as chair of the organization. She is also a board member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Alumni Association and is Booz Allen’s sponsor for the MIT Industrial Liaison Program. She has served in board roles with the Society of Women Engineers Corporate Partnership Council and the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital.  In addition, she has been named the 2010 Engineer of the Year by the District of Columbia Council of Engineering and Architectural Studies (DCCEAS). 

With an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University, Ms. Givans also holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from MIT.
