FAIRFAX, VA—AFCEA’s sixth annual Homeland Security Conference returns to the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center, Washington, D.C., February 28-March 1, 2007. The conference and exposition will focus on “Intelligence and Information Fusion… Beyond Sharing” and is unique because it focuses on the IT issues surrounding homeland security. The Conference attracts government and industry IT professionals, CIOs, and program managers involved in operations, policy and procurement issues.
Four panel sessions will address fusion priorities of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS): the enabling and effectiveness of information fusion across state/local, federal and private sectors, and Cyber and Border Fusion - how key elements of intelligence and large scale information fusion can be leveraged to secure borders and optimize operations.
AFCEA’s Homeland Security Conference includes a live panel discussion with Charles Allen, Chief Intelligence Officer, DHS and The Honorable Dale Meyerrose, Chief Information Officer, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, a ground-breaking summit which encapsulates the type of information and intelligence fusion that is the focus of the entire conference.
In addition, the conference includes senior homeland security leaders as featured speakers:
The Solutions Showcase, with over 60 exhibits, showcases the latest homeland security technologies, including communications equipment, vehicles, emergency response systems, network and information security, and more.
