PRESS RELEASES AFCEA’S HOMELAND SECURITY CONFERENCE FOCUSES ON CRITICAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ISSUES

FAIRFAX, VA—AFCEA’s ninth annual Homeland Security Conference: “DHS - The 7-Year Itch - Renewing the Commitment” returns to the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center, Washington, D.C., February 24-25, 2010. Attendees include government and industry IT professionals, CIOs, and program managers involved in operations, policy and procurement.
Topics covered will include cyber security, securing social media, transparency, border security, “CIOs on Air”, immigration reform, information and intelligence sharing, and procurement.
In addition, the Conference includes these featured speakers:
Panelists include representatives from DHS, Department of Justice, Department of Defense, Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The Exhibit Showcase, with over 60 exhibits, showcases the latest homeland security technologies, including communications equipment, emergency response systems, network and information security, and more.
