FAIRFAX, VA— AFCEA International and the U.S. Naval Institute are pleased to announce that TECHEXPO will hold a career fair on the first day of their West Conference in San Diego, California. As demand for employees with Government and Military experience continues, the TECHEXPO hiring event at West 2012 will offer a richer experience for all attendees. Defense contractors, federal agencies, government service companies and others will interview applicants for hundreds of available positions. The job fair will take place during the first day of West 2012 on January 24, 2012 at the San Diego Convention Center. Registration for the West 2012 conference and exposition and the TECHEXPO job fair is free.

The Western Conference and Exposition (West 2012), which will draw over 10,000 attendees, is the largest event on the West Coast for communications, electronics, intelligence, information systems, imaging, military weapon systems, aviation, shipbuilding, and more. In addition to visiting exhibiting companies to learn and collect critical information, attendees will have the opportunity to advance their careers by stopping by the job fair for on the spot interviews.

"There are numerous online job boards, but nothing beats a handshake at a live hiring event," says Bradford Rand, President and CEO of TECHEXPO. "Companies will be able to interview hundreds of experienced professionals in one day and return to their offices with a good selection of qualified candidates. West 2012 attendees benefit by conducting months' worth of interviews in a single day, saving them time in their search for new career opportunities."
