Cyber Symposium Call for Proposals Deadline Approaching

Demonstrate new solutions to government and potential industry partners in the AFCEA Solutions Pavilion at the AFCEA Cyber International Symposium, June 24-25 at the Baltimore Convention Center. Submit a description of your organization's products or services, including the requirements they support, the cybersecurity objective they meet and when they are expected to be available. Upcoming Events, March 14 - March 28, 2014

Trivia Answer: The U.S. Coast Guard operates under DHS during peacetime but can be transferred to the U.S. Department of the Navy by the U.S. president at any time or by the U.S. Congress during times of war. Formerly operating under the Department of Transportation, after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Coast Guard was one of 22 agencies that was moved under the umbrella of the DHS to avoid conflicts with the Posse Comitatus Act, allowing it to support homeland security efforts.
