Cycle for STEM—Meet the Quickly Growing Team

Raising awareness and money for STEM scholarships is crucial to the future of innovation, and if the number of people involved in AFCEA’s Cycle for STEM is any indication, the cause is catching fire. The team now has 22 confirmed riders.

One of these cyclists is six-day rider Ludmilla Parnell. She will represent one of the event's Platinum sponsors, General Dynamics Information Technology. She’s already gone above and beyond, exceeding her own personal fundraising goal. Ludmilla isn’t done yet, though, and is busy finding more donors to support a cause she strongly believes in.

Also riding is Dan Turissini who will join the one-day ride. He serves as the executive vice president and chief technology officer for one of the event’s Bronze sponsors, WidePoint. Dan also is the founder and chief executive officer of Operational Research Consultants Inc., a subsidiary of WidePoint.

Learn more about the Cycle for STEM riders on the Meet the Team page. The website also has information about how you can donate, sponsor or sign up to join the ride.
