Fairfax, VA - TechNet North 2007 will focus on “Persistent C4ISR - the Global War on Terror - Homeland Security - Humanitarian Operations” at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, November 14-15. Co-sponsored by AFCEA International and the AFCEA Lexington-Concord Chapter, this 2-day conference will feature featured speakers, panel sessions and an exhibit hall. Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), a term traditionally used in a military systems context, today has broad applicability across the private, public and voluntary sectors of national and international organizations. C4ISR systems are used to generate situational awareness, whether in a major war or conflict, defending or protecting the homeland, conducting and assuring financial transactions, or responding to natural and man-made disasters.
TechNet North’s featured speakers will provide their unique perspectives on C4ISR systems:
Panel sessions will focus on securing the borders from air, land and sea; securing cyberspace; operational implementations and lessons learned; evolving programs; and technology. Panelists include senior military and government leaders, first responders, international representatives, and members of industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with panelists during the question and answer time.
The exhibit hall will showcase the latest IT and homeland security technologies, including communications equipment, emergency response systems, network and information security, and more. Exhibitors will be showing products and solutions for federal government, military, law enforcement and commercial applications.
TechNet North will provide military, government and industry attendees with numerous professional development opportunities. There is a shuttle service available for Hanscom AFB attendees.
