HAMPTON, VA TO HOST AFCEA FORUM ON MILITARY TRANSFORMATION

FAIRFAX, VA – Transformation TechNet 2006 will bring representatives together from all U.S. branches of service, coalition and joint forces, government agencies and industry to discuss “Team Transformation… A Must for International Security”. The conference and exposition takes place in the Hampton Roads Convention Center May 9-10, 2006.

Co-sponsored by AFCEA International and the AFCEA Hampton Roads and Tidewater Chapters, this event is expected to draw 700 people and will cover hot issues facing the defense community, such as multi-national experimentation and coalition network security. With over 45 exhibitors showing IT, communications, homeland security, biometric technologies and more, Transformation TechNet provides everything you need to know about defense transformation. Over 45 exhibitors will display their products and solutions at Transformation TechNet, and attendees will gain keen insight into the emerging technologies that will make transformation possible. The exposition includes local companies, large defense contractors, small businesses, and government agencies.

AFCEA welcomes the Department of the Navy Information Management and Information Technology conference sessions, hosted by the Department of the Navy Chief Information Officer (DON CIO) May 8-10. These sessions are open to all Transformation TechNet attendees.
