AFCEA International Awards Program
Distinguished Service to Education

Candidates for the AFCEA Educational Foundation Distinguished Service to Education Award will be solicited from AFCEA chapter presidents, Educational Foundation Board members, AFCEA International Executive Board members and AFCEA International senior staff members. Nominations are solicited in September and due each year in early December. The Educational Foundation Board of Directors will select the recipient at their February meeting.

Criteria:

Qualifications: Exceptional service that demonstrates a unique dedication to the educational mission of the AFCEA Educational Foundation and/or the educational programs of AFCEA chapter organizations. Nominee must be a member of AFCEA. Criteria include but are not limited to participation in:

AFCEA President and CEO Kent Schneider and AFCEA Chair of the Board Natalie Givans present the 2012 Distinguished Service to Education Award to Charisse Stokes, Telos Corporation (c). They are joined by Tom Gwaltney, Regional Vice President, Mid-South Region, and Fred Rainbow, Vice President and Executive Director, AFCEA Educational Foundation.
