There are two options available for participating in this Lunch & Learn program:
Option 1: Onsite training at Vizada,Inc. 2600 Tower Oaks Blvd., 7th Floor, Rockville, MD 20852
Option 2: Video teleconference (VTC) via WebEx from a remote location
The first Lunch & Learn Seminar of this season will address of the following technical aspects of satellite communication in the mobile environment:
Comparison of low earth orbit (LEO) satellites and geosynchronous (GEO) satellites
Discussion around the Inmarsat, Thuraya, and Iridium constellations, including locations and services
Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) infrastructure; ground earth station locations; and services and capabilities.
