Purpose:
The AFCEA Intelligence Committee is a group of government and industry volunteers that oversees the Association's outreach to the U.S. Intelligence Community. By providing alternative forums for the exchange of ideas between industry and the Community (e.g., symposia, special seminars, and studies), the Committee strives to make a contribution to national security.

Symposia:
The Intelligence Committee is best known for its annual fall and spring classified symposia for intelligence professionals in government and industry.

White Papers:
As part of its outreach, the Intelligence Committee has prepared a series of white papers intended to contribute to a national discussion about ways to strengthen the contribution intelligence makes to our nation’s security and to address the growing need for intelligence to function within the evolving operational concepts of defense, homeland security and the other components of national security. AFCEA Intelligence Awards:
Annually, AFCEA honors intelligence professionals making a difference in the intelligence and national security arena.  This very important program is an effort the Association makes to thank these individuals for the contributions and sacrifices they make on behalf of all of us.    

There are two levels of recognition:  a senior level award and a mid-level award.  Nominations can come from anyone, and the online forms are easy to complete.  Please consider nominating an intelligence professional you know who is making a difference.
