Lockheed Martin Awarded Air Force Contract For Additional Joint Air-To-Surface Standoff Missiles

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin a $243.5 million contract for an eighth production lot of the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) cruise missile. The award brings the total contracted number of the JASSM to more than 1,200. The Lot 8 contract is for 158 JASSM missiles, along with fuse reliability, parts obsolescence efforts, test instrumentation kits, system reliability and flight test support.
