Intelsat Awarded American Forces Radio and Television Contract
Intelsat General Corporation, Bethesda, Maryland, was recently awarded a contract potentially worth $145 million for the American Forces Radio and Television Service Global Satellite Services Program. The contract provides worldwide commercial telecommunications services to include: C- and Ku-band satellite resources; land earth stations; terrestrial backhauls; and bandwidth management services. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Scott Air Force Bass, Illinois, is the contracting activity.
