Neany to Send Helios Unmanned Systems to Afghanistan

Neany Incorporated, Hollywood, Maryland, is being awarded nearly $10 million to manufacture, test, evaluate, and deliver Helios unmanned aerial systems and ground control stations for the Army. In addition, the contract provides for logistics, training, and in-theater support. Work will be performed in Afghanistan, Yuma Proving Grounds, Arizona, and Hollywood, Maryland. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.
