Northrop Grumman Receives Fire Scout Software Sustainment Funds

Northrop Grumman Corp., Aerospace Systems, San Diego, is being awarded an $8,021,113 modification to a previously issued cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00019-16-C-0023) to exercise an option for software sustainment services in support of MQ-8B Fire Scout unmanned aircraft systems. Work will be performed in San Diego (90 percent) and Point Mugu, California (10 percent), and it is expected to be completed in December. Fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $8,021,113 are being obligated at the time of award, all of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
