Northrop to Integrate Radar Systems onto Fire Scout

 

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $33,270,000 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the development, production, integration, and testing of nine radar systems on the MQ-8B Fire Scout Vertical Take-off and Landing Tactical Unmanned Air Vehicle. The company also received a $19,166,627 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for logistics services in support of the MQ-8B Fire Scout Vertical Take-Off and Landing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
