Grundies To Direct CACI Naval Programs

NASA AWARDS CONTRACT MODIFICATION TO L-3

NASA has signed a contract modification increasing the not-to-exceed value of a support contract with L-3 Services of Fairfax, Virginia, by $49 million, bringing the total value of the contract to $98 million. The contract provides simulation and software technology support to Johnson Space Center's Software, Robotics and Simulation Division in the fields of design, development, testing and operations of intelligent systems, robotic systems, spacecraft flight software systems and real-time simulation systems. This work supports the development and operations of the Space Shuttle and International Space Station programs, the Orion project, the Mission Operations Directorate training systems project and advanced programs for exploration.

General Dynamics to Support Deployable Joint Command and Control System

General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded a task order to support the U.S. Navy's Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division, under the SeaPort-E contract. The task order is valued at more than $41 million over five years if all options are exercised. General Dynamics will provide systems, networks, communications, and infrastructure support with help desk management for a multi-classification level Deployable Joint Command and Control (DJC2) system. This support will include response to employees' calls, systems troubleshooting and testing, software upgrades and systems maintenance. The DJC2 provides a standardized, integrated command-and-control system to U.S. Geographic Combatant Commanders that supports Joint Task Force operations. General Dynamics will also manage the DJC2 operations support center, which is a collective of help desks at multiple sites. The company will provide on-site support for five worldwide combatant commander sites-San Antonio, Texas; Vicenza, Italy; Okinawa, Japan; Tampa, Florida and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii-as well as the Panama City, Florida, location.

BAE to Support Joint Tactical Radio System Link 16 Software

BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Incorporated, Wayne, New Jersey, is being awarded a potential $24 million contract for Link 16 software in-service support for the Joint Program Executive Office, Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Network Enterprise Domain. Support efforts include technical support, software maintenance/upgrades, and enhancements to baseline JTRS Link-16 software. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.
