Northrop Grumman Corporation has received a contract by NASA Langley Research Center to build a sensor that measures the time and space distributions of incoming energy from the sun and outgoing thermal and reflected energy from Earth (known as Earth's radiation budget).

Northrop Grumman Wins Terahertz Contract

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation Phase 1 of the $37 million Terahertz Electronics contract, U.S. Defense Department. Work on the contract will support military and space satellites with the development of active receivers and transmitters operating at 670 gigahertz that ensure reliable, high-resolution images and other applications.

Raytheon, Navy Sign $260 Million Phalanx Close-In Weapon System Contract

Renuart Jr., USAF, commander, North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, opened the AFCEA Solutions conference on Inter-Agency, Allied and Coalition Information Sharing with a resounding endorsement of the need for continuing conversation about information sharing.
