ITT Receives $9.2 Million Radar Approach Control System Contract From Turkish Navy

ITT Corporation has been awarded a $9.2 million contract to supply a fixed site complete radar approach control system for the Turkish Navy's Cengiz Topel airbase through prime contractor Eriktronik Engineering. The contract comprises a terminal air surveillance radar and PAR-2000 precision approach radar as well as spare parts, training and assistance with installation.

General Dynamics Electric Boat Corporation to Provide Services and Support for Active Nuclear Submarines

General Dynamics Electric Boat Corporation is being awarded a $286 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for design agent, planning yard, engineering and technical support for active nuclear submarines. This contract includes options that could bring the cumulative value of the contract to an estimated $1.8 billion. The contract provides for drawings and related technical data; design change documentation; logistics technical data; configuration management; hull, mechanical and electrical engineering; submarine safety design review; non-propulsion plant electrical system engineering; information services; on-site support; configuration change program design and installation support; configuration change program material support; submarine technical trade support; modernization of submarine/submersible systems/subsystems; and other services.

Guident Technologies Awarded Contract to Support Department of Homeland Security

Guident Technologies has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to establish a department-wide decision support system. The new system, known as the System for Management Analyses and Resource Tracking (SMART), will enable improved visibility into project level issues, better reporting capabilities and enhanced oversight/control over major investments across the DHS. The contract has a potential value of $2.5 million. Guident will provide management oversight and technical support for the planning, designing, prototyping and implementation of SMART.

DRC Awarded $13 Million Data Quality Management Contract from Air Force Materiel Command

Dynamics Research Corporation (DRC) has been awarded a $13 million contract to support the U.S. Air Force Global Logistics Support Center, part of the Air Force Materiel Command located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. DRC will determine the extent of D200A interface and system data quality problems, identify discrepancies, initiate corrections and provide visibility of data as well as maintain web applications, which assist in the tracking, scanning and organizing of data to identify anomalies in the system and correct them.

Northrop Grumman Awarded Rapid Prototyping, Integration and Development Contract

Northrop Grumman has been awarded a contract by the 50th Space Wing supporting the Space Innovation and Development Center's Aerospace Fusion Center (AFC) at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for the Rapid Prototyping, Integration and Development program. Under the new contract, Northrop Grumman will provide the AFC with operations and maintenance and research and development for the Space Awareness and Global Exploitation (SAGE) system, which is a state-of-the-art multi-sensor, multi-mission fusion engine that provides information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to many research and development users. The company will also support the Static Infrared Emitter processor, SAGE client displays, and affiliated hardware, software, crypto and communication lines.

BAE Systems Awarded $1.6 Billion Army Contract for Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles

BAE Systems has been awarded a $1.6 billion contract from the U.S. Army to build another 10,000 Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV). BAE Systems will manufacture the FMTVs in the long-term armor strategy configuration, which is designed to accept an adaptable armor system, allowing protection to be increased or decreased based on the threat.

SAIC Awarded $24 Million Contract to Support Army Network Management System

Science Applications International Incorporated (SAIC) has been awarded the Joint Network Management System contract by the U.S. Army's Office of the Project Manager - Current Force to provide network planning and software support services. The contract has a total value of more than $24 million if all options are exercised. Under this contract, SAIC will assist in the production and deployment of the system as well as provide training and help desk services. SAIC also will provide post-deployment/production software, logistics and engineering support.

CACI Awarded Three Contracts Worth $30 Million to Support Defense Medical Logistics Development

CACI International Incorporated has been awarded three prime task order contracts totaling $30 million to continue the company's support for the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support System (DMLSS) at the Joint Medical Logistics Functional Development Center (JMLFDC) at Fort Detrick, Maryland.

The Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics (TEWLS) service access point (SAP)-based system integration contract is a three-year, $12.7 million effort to provide SAP integration of the TEWLS application, enabling it to transition into the DMLSS family of systems and to facilitate the seamless integration of the TEWLS support structure into JMLFDC.

The DMLSS Functional Sustainment Support contract, a four-year, $9.7 million effort, continues CACI's support in helping to identify the requirements for enhancing DMLSS services and provide software life cycle functional sustainment support for DMLSS applications.

The DMLSS Software Sustainment Support contract is a two-year, $7.6 million award to provide software maintenance and sustainment support for the current DMLSS Automated Information System. CACI will assist with the transformation of the current DMLSS family of applications to a net-centric services-oriented architecture system.

General Dynamics Awarded $58 Million for Engineering Work on Saudi Tank

General Dynamics Land Systems has been awarded $58.3 million to design the new Saudi M1A2 (M1A2S) Abrams tank for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Foreign Military Sales contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command Life Cycle Management Command for the Royal Saudi Land Forces. General Dynamics will design, develop, convert, implement and test a hybrid configuration of the M1A1, M1A2 and M1A2 System Enhancement Package tank variants for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

General Dynamics European Land Systems Awarded Contract for EAGLE IV 4x4 Vehicles for Germany

General Dynamics European Land Systems as entered a contract with Bundesamt für Wehrtechnik und Beschaffung, a German company, for the delivery of 198 EAGLE IV protected command and function vehicles. The contract has a total value of approximately $141 million.
