Raytheon to Produce Cooperation Engagement Capability Systems

Raytheon Network Centric Systems has been awarded a firm-fixed-price contract worth $29,437,812 for Cooperation Engagement Capability (CEC) System production. The contract provides for production of CEC systems and ancillary support for the U.S. Navy, Army and Marines. CEC is a sensor netting system that significantly improves battle force Anti-Air Warfare capability and improves battle force effectiveness by improving overall situation awareness. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

BBN Technologies Awarded Contract to Supply Boomerang Systems

BBN Technologies is receiving a $73,845,000 contract by the U.S. Army Project Manager Robotics and Unmanned Sensors to deliver spare parts, training services and Boomerang systems, which immediately alert U.S. forces to the occurrence of hostile incoming fire and pinpoint the location of the enemy shooter.

General Dynamics Land System Receives $552 Million Order

General Dynamics Land System--Canada has been awarded a delivery order from the U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC). The order has a potential value of $552 million and is for the production of 773 RG-31 Mk5E Category I vehicles for the MCSC's Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle program.

Harris Corporation to Supply Digital Map Computers to U.S. Navy

Applied Research Laboratory Wins Contract for Research and Development Support

Applied Research Laboratory is receiving a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract of $26,193,985. The contract will provide 232,000 staff hours of research and development and specialized engineering services in core competency areas, including astronomical research, advanced electro-optical systems, laser and remote sensing detection systems, ocean environmental effects, and research in engineering programs to support sensors, communications and information technology. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Aviation Systems Engineering Awarded Contract for Aircraft Equipment Demonstration Support

Aviation Systems Engineering Company Incorporated has received an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract of $7,967,540 for aircraft equipment demonstration support to test cutting-edge Anti-Submarine Warfare systems during flight demonstrations and fleet exercises. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin will Provide Program Office Support to U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command

Lockheed Martin will provide analytical, acquisition, administrative and logistics support services.

ODIN Technologies to Partner with Unisys

ODIN Technologies has been chosen as a lead radio frequency identification (RFID) deployment partner for the $62 million Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative contract awarded to Unisys in January. The program uses RFID-enabled identification cards for faster border crossing identity verification.

Aero Thermo Technology Receives Contract to support Trident I and II Programs

Aero Thermo Technology Incorporated is receiving a $5,898,712 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for technical, analytical and program research and development service to support the Trident I and Trident II Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile program and the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile guidance system requirement. The contract contains options that could make it worth $32.5 million. Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
