Logos Technologies, Fairfax, Va., has been awarded $111.8 million by U.S. Naval Air Systems Command to develop an additional 22 Kestrel wide-area persistent surveillance systems to support U.S. forces in the field. The NAVAIR contract calls for the delivery of 20 Kestrel systems and spares, as well as two units for testing and upgrading. In addition, Logos Technologies will provide operational, logistical and analytical support on Kestrel through 2013.

Logos Technologies, Arlington, Virginia, is being awarded an almost  $8 million contract modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the lightweight expeditionary airborne persistent surveillance overseas contingency operations. The Office of Naval Research, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

Logos Technologies, Arlington, Virginia, is being awarded a $9 million contract modification to develop and produce four prototype 59-mega-pixel persistent surveillance systems for field user evaluation. The Lightweight Expeditionary Airborne Persistent Surveillance System is a lightweight expeditionary airborne persistent imagery surveillance system. The Office of Naval Research Laboratory, Arlington, is the contracting activity.

Logos Technologies Incorporated, Arlington, Virginia, is being awarded a $48 million contract for a Phase III Small Business Innovation Research project entitled Wide Area Video Image Storage Techniques. This contract provides for the design development, production, fielding, operation, and sustainment of a reliable wide area persistent surveillance system (Kestrel) for deployment on aerostats and airships operating at altitudes between 1,000 and 5,000 feet for the U.S.
