Navmar Supports TigerShark in Afghanistan

Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation, Warminster, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $7,958,350 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N68335-12-C-0353) to exercise an option for the procurement of logistic services and mission travel in support of the TigerShark persistent surveillance unmanned aerial system. Work will be performed in Afghanistan (92 percent), and Warminster (8 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2015. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.

Navmar to Develop Rapid Biometrics Processing Technology

Navmar Applied Sciences Corp., Warminster, Pa., is being awarded a $12,500,411 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for development of a Biometric Identity Approval Sentinel that produces technology that rapidly processes individuals for threat detection and biometric matching. This project will provide a fully integrated, highly accurate, configurable, and deployable solution that combines current and new technologies to dramatically increase the safety, speed, and efficiency of access control. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-14-C-0023).

U.S. Navy Procures Additional Tiger Shark Unmanned Aerial Systems

Navmar Applied Sciences, Warminster, Pa., is being awarded a $11,207,449 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price contract to exercise an option for the procurement of hardware in support of the persistent surveillance unmanned aerial system (PSUAS) for the U.S. Army. This effort includes the procurement of 15 additional Tiger Shark PSUAS air vehicles and 15 i200 turrets, which will be integrated into the PSUAS. Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va.; Afghanistan; and Raleigh, N.C., and is expected to be completed in January 2014. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity. 

NAVMAR to Develop Advanced Sensors for Special Operations Command

Navmar Supports Copperhead UAV in Afghanistan

Navmar Applied Sciences Corp., Warminster, Pa., is being awarded a $50,977,258 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee/firm-fixed-price contract to exercise an option for additional sustainment efforts for existing Copperhead unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) detachments, to include personnel support for training and logistics both in the continental United States and outside the continental United States, as well as a variety of spares and industrial supply type materials required for the repair and maintenance efforts.  Work will be performed in Afghanistan and the Yuma Proving Ground, Ariz., and is expected to be completed in February 2014. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.

Navmar Applied Sciences Corp., Warminster, Pa., is being awarded a $31,284,013 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price contract for continued sustainment and establishment of Copperhead Unmanned Aerial Vehicle detachments. This includes the procurement of the 42 TigerShark Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Block III platforms, and up to four ground control stations and associated spares as well as continental United States and outside the continental United States personnel support. Work will be performed in Afghanistan (90 percent), and the Yuma Proving Ground, Ariz. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in February 2014. NAVMAR Applied Sciences Corporation, Warminster, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $19,999,611 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement for a Phase III B Small Business Innovation Research project under topics N92-170 and N94-178 entitled "Laser Radar Identification Demonstration" and "Air Deployable Multi-Parameter Environmental Probe" respectfully. This order procures 127 Persistent Ground Surveillance Systems Gondola's Gen 3.2, and the associated integration of the gondolas in support of forward operating bases throughout Afghanistan. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J. is the contracting activity.

NAVMAR Applied Sciences Corporation, Warminster, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $12,499,940 cost-plus-fixed-fee order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement for a Phase III B Small Business Innovation Research project under topics N92-170 and N94-178 entitled, respectively, "Laser Radar (LADAR) Identification Demonstration" and "Air Deployable Multi-Parameter Environmental Probe." This order provides for the assessment and deployment of innovative intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), and communication systems that, when combined, will extend the range and performance of ISR capabilities of the Persistent Ground Surveillance System Phase IIIB. It also provides for the identification and procurement of commercial-off-the-shelf equipment that enhances these same capabilities. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Maryland; Yuma, Arizona; and Afghanistan. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.
