Navmar to Develop Advanced Airborne ISR Sensors

Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation, Warminster, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $10,304,848 order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement for a phase three, Small Business Innovation Research Project under topics N92-170, "Lasar Radar (LADAR) Identification Demonstration," and N94-178, "Air-Deployable Expendable Multi-Parameter Environmental Probe." This order provides for developing, testing, and evaluating advanced intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance sensors and systems that can be integrated into existing aircraft systems to perform detection and tracking in open ocean surveillance. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.

NAVMAR to Deploy Advanced C5ISR Architecture and Persistent Surveillance

NAVMAR Applied Sciences Corporation, Warminster, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $12,436,224 cost-plus-fixed-fee order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement to continue efforts initiated under Small Business Innovation Research topic N94-178, to assess, procure, deploy, and support an advanced coalition, command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance equipment and system of architecture. Twenty percent of the work will be performed in Afghanistan. The company is also being awarded a $12,341,259 order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement for the assessment, procurement, and deployment of innovative intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems, and communication systems in support of phase three Persistent Ground Surveillance Systems. This effort also includes the assessment of unmanned aircraft vehicle (UAV) noise reducing technology, aircraft aerodynamics with increased lift and decreased drag, UAV weatherization, long endurance, submersible technology, interoperability of airborne and waterborne techniques to support ISR military operations and counter-narco-terrorism and related support hardware. The company is being awaded a third contract, a $12,336,876 order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement for the assessment, procurement, and deployment of innovative intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems, and communication systems, micro unmanned aircraft vehicle technology, and related hardware in support of phase three Persistent Ground Surveillance Systems. This effort also includes the procurement of 10 appropriately configured TigerShark unmanned aircraft system for precision acquisition weaponized system testing. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity for all three awards.

NAVMAR Receives $84 Million for Gondola Avionic Sensor Packages

NAVMAR Applied Sciences Corporation, Warminster, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a more than $84 million firm-fixed-priced, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for a Phase III Small Business Innovation Research project under Topics N92-170, entitled "Laser Detection & Ranging Identification Demonstration," and N94-178, entitled "Air Deployable Expendable Multi-parameter Environmental Probe." This Phase III award provides for the production, validation, and delivery of the Gondola avionic sensor packages for the Army. In addition, this contract provides for field service representative support; delivery, installation, operation, and maintenance of hardware; continued testing; engineering services; modeling, simulation, analysis; systems engineering and integration in support of the Persistent Ground Surveillance Program. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.

NAVMAR Provides Helios Unmanned Aircraft in Afghanistan

NAVMAR Applied Sciences Corporation, Warminster, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a nearly $74 million cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for a Phase III Small Business Innovation Research project for the development and use of the Helios unmanned air systems (UAS). This contract includes field service representative support; delivery, installation, operation, and maintenance of hardware; engineering, integration, and test and evaluation efforts needed to fabricate and deliver UAS systems and advanced sensors with the UAS systems; continued testing; engineering services; modeling, simulation, analysis; systems engineering and integration; and continental/outside continental U.S. program support. Work will be performed in Afghanistan; Yuma, Arizona; Patuxent River, Maryland; Warminster, Pennsylvania; and Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and is expected to be completed in July 2013. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.
