SAIC Supports Air System Simulation

Science Applications International Corporation, McLean, Virginia, is being awarded an $11,195,326 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to exercise an option for technical and engineering services in support of the Naval Air Systems Command's Air Vehicle Engineering Department and the Manned Flight Simulator/Air Combat Environment Test and Evaluation facilities. Services to be provided support the development and utilization of advanced air vehicle technology for evaluating air vehicle flying qualities and controllability, developing simulation software, and building prototype simulations. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Wyle Labs to Support E-2 Aircraft for Six Foreign Nations

Wyle Laboratories Incorporated, Huntsville, Alabama, is being awarded a $33,693,891 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract to execute an award term for continued E-2C/E-2D/C-2 planning, program, and financial services in support of the U.S. Navy and under the Foreign Military Sales Program, the governments of France, Taiwan, Egypt, Japan, Singapore, and Canada. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

STARA to Provide Surveillance Tower Kits for Afghanistan

STARA Technologies Incorporated, Gilbert, Arizona, is being awarded a $12,527,861 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-fee contract for 14 Surveillance Tower Integration Kit (STIK) systems; eight field service representatives deployed in theater for the STIK systems; 11 towers to integrate into the STIK system to create a persistent ground surveillance tower; and level three drawings. Work will be performed in Afghanistan, Gilbert and Yuma, Arizona, and is expected to be completed in September 2012. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.

 

U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Modifies Technical Services Contract

PSI Sierra LLC, California, Maryland, is being awarded a $9,479,842 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00421-08-D-0006) to exercise an option for technical services in support of the Information Technology/Information Management Department at Naval Air Systems Command/Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland. The services to be provided include: video technology support, national help desk support, Navy Marine Corps Intranet Customer Technical Representative support. NAVMAR Receives $84 Million for Gondola Avionic Sensor Packages

NAVMAR Applied Sciences Corporation, Warminster, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a more than $84 million firm-fixed-priced, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for a Phase III Small Business Innovation Research project under Topics N92-170, entitled "Laser Detection & Ranging Identification Demonstration," and N94-178, entitled "Air Deployable Expendable Multi-parameter Environmental Probe." This Phase III award provides for the production, validation, and delivery of the Gondola avionic sensor packages for the Army. In addition, this contract provides for field service representative support; delivery, installation, operation, and maintenance of hardware; continued testing; engineering services; modeling, simulation, analysis; systems engineering and integration in support of the Persistent Ground Surveillance Program. TCOM to Provide Aerostats for Persistent Ground Surveillance

TCOM Limited Partnership, Columbia, Maryland, is being awarded an approximate $12 million contract modification for the procurement of hardware in support of Phase III of the Persistent Ground Surveillance Systems (PGSS) for the U.S. Army. Hardware to be provided includes three 28M+ aerostat systems and three site spares to outfit and enhance the capabilities of the existing PGSS currently fielded. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.

Pathfinder Systems to Provide Aircrew Trainer Prototype

Pathfinder Systems Incorporated, Arvada, Colorado, is being awarded a more than $6 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for a Phase III Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) project for the operational prototype Marine Common Aircrew Trainer (MCAT) prototype two. This SBIR Phase III project will implement a baseline configuration upgrade based on the previously delivered MCAT prototype one and will build upon previously demonstrated and delivered Phase II simulation technologies. Toyon Research to Provide Electronic Warfare Antennas

U.S. Navy Provides Hawkeye Funding to Northrop Grumman

Northrop Grumman Technical Services Incorporated Herndon, Virginia, is being awarded a more than  $7 million contract modification for maintenance, manufacturing of parts, instrumentation and engineering support for the C-2, E-2, Advanced Hawkeye (E-2D), and applicable platforms associated with airborne early warning equipment, rotor dome and vapor cycle system. Additionally, supportability/safety studies on various highly specialized and uniquely configured E-2 and C-2 aircraft and weapon systems maintenance engineering and logistics services will be performed. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
