Insitu Supports ScanEagle Operations in Afganistan

Insitu Incorporated, Bingen, Washington, is being awarded a $23,401,476 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract for additional operational and maintenance services in support of the ScanEagle unmanned aerial systems. These services will provide electro-optical/infrared and mid-wave infrared imagery in support of land-based operations in Operation Enduring Freedom to provide real-time imagery and data. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Insitu to Support ScanEagle Operations in Afghanistan

Insitu Incorporated, Bingen, Washington, is being awarded a nearly $46 million contract to provide deployment services and flight hours in support of the ScanEagle Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). These services will provide electro-optical/infra red and mid-wave infrared imagery in support of Marine Corps operations in Operation Enduring Freedom, and will encompass both the operations and maintenance of the ScanEagle UAS to provide real-time imagery and data to U.S. Marine Corps personnel. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

AAI Corporation Receives $35 Million Shadow Contract Modification

AAI Corporation, Hunt Valley, Maryland, recently received a $35 million contract modification to complete the fiscal 2011 performance-based logistics contract for the Shadow unmanned aircraft system and a service effort for four government-owned, contractor operated teams to operate and maintain the Shadow unmanned aircraft system in support of Operation New Dawn/Operation Enduring Freedom. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
