SAIC to Support Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems

Science Applications International Corporation, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $10 million contract modification to support system design, engineering, integration, installation, training, operational support, and in-service engineering for the Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems used by the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and other Department of Defense activities. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

SELEX to Provide Air Traffic Control Systems to Kuwait

SELEX Sistemi Integrati, a Finmeccanica company, signed a contract valued at $16 million to provide the Kuwait General directorate of civil aviation with air traffic control systems. The company will equip the international airport of Kuwait City with an ATCR-33/S primary radar, an SIR-S secondary radar and a ground station Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast system, a high-performance system for en-route, terminal area and airport surveillance applications. The contract, which will last about three years, also includes the supply of the logistic and post sales support and the relevant civil works.
