Lockheed Martin Provides F-35 Helmet Mounted Displays

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $75,980,553 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-12-C-0004) for the procurement of 252 helmet mounted display systems in support of the F-35 Lightning II aircraft for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and the governments of Japan and Israel. This modification combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($33,541,274; 44 percent); the U.S. Air Force ($28,938,439; 38 percent); international partners ($10,103,656; 13 percent); and the governments of Japan ($2,264,917; 3 percent) and Israel ($1,132,267; 2 percent). The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

BAE to Provide Friend or Foe Identification to Japan

BAE Systems Information & Electronic Systems Integration Inc., Greenlawn, N.Y., is being awarded a $6,715,693 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the procurement of 16 AN/UPX-41 (C) Digital Interrogators for the U.S. Navy (14) and the government of Japan (2) and 45 Mode 5 Identification Friend or Foe field change kits for the U.S. Navy (33) and the government of Japan (12). This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($5,399,417; 80.4 percent) and the government of Japan ($1,316,276; 19.6 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-14-D-0004).

Lockheed Martin to Provide Integrated Common Processor to Japan

Lockheed Martin Corp., Manassas, Va., is being awarded an $11,912,771 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price contract for the Integrated Common Processor Program. The organization will provide software and hardware development, production, installation, training, maintenance and provisioned items under the Maritime Surveillance Systems Program Office, PMS-485, Program Executive Office Submarines, Naval Sea Systems Command. This contract includes options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the contract to an estimated $83,502,467. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (90 percent) and the government of Japan (10 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00039-14-C-0035).

Lockheed Supports Aegis Radar for Six Nations

Lockheed Martin Corp., Mission Systems and Training, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $6,872,082 cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide technical engineering, configuration management, associated equipment/supplies, quality assurance, information assurance and other operation and maintenance efforts required for the Aegis development and test sites, including the Combat Systems Engineering Development Site, SPY-1A Test Facility and the Naval Systems Computing Center. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $304,402,466. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy and the governments of Japan, Korea, Spain, Norway and Australia under the Foreign Military Sales program. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity. 

Smartronix to Support Cyber Operations in Four Countries

Smartronix Inc., Hollywood, Md., is being awarded a $17,009,473 firm-fixed-price contract with cost reimbursable, contract line items, for cyber operations support. This contract provides for program management, knowledge and information assurance management, network operations and maintenance, help desk and engineering support services at Quantico, Va., Camp Pendleton, Calif., and various Marine Corps detachments inside and outside the continental United States. This contract contains two option periods, which if exercised, would bring the maximum dollar value to $39,989,046.  Work will be performed primarily within Quantico, Va.; Camp Pendleton, Calif.; Camp Lejeune, N.C.; Okinawa, Japan; Stuttgart, Germany; New Orleans, La.; Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii; Kansas City, Mo.; and Seoul, Korea, with an expected completion date of June 29, 2014. The Regional Contracting Office, National Capital Region, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.

NextiraOne to Support Defense Networks

Boeing to Upgrade Japanese AWACS

Boeing Co., Defense, Space and Security, Kent, Wash., has being awarded an $8,481,422 delivery order to a previously-awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity cost-plus-fixed- fee contract for Japan AWACS mission computing upgrade (MCU)/electronic support measures requirements planning program. The contract delivery order provides a program risk assessment, export licensing planning, modeling and simulation analyses, trade studies, conduct of a MCU demonstration, diminished manufacturing sources monitoring, planning, and sustainment support planning on behalf of the Japan Air Self Defense Force. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity.

Boeing to Provide Laser Guidance Sets to Saudi Arabia and Japan

Contractor to Conduct UAV Risk Reduction Flights for Six Countries

Canadian Commercial Corp., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is being awarded a $9,839,099 firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for services and supplies for land and sea-based modeling, testing and risk reduction flights for the U.S. Navy and the governments of Australia, Spain, Japan, South Korea and Norway. In support of these efforts, the contractor will utilize a Vindicator II System comprised of contractor-owned unmanned air vehicles and high-speed maneuvering unmanned surface vehicles, as well as a contractor-owned helicopter radar signature simulator. The Naval Air Systems Command, Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif., is the contracting activity.
