Lockheed Martin Receives Contract For Four C-130J Super Hercules Aircraft For Qatar

Lockheed Martin Corporation and the State of Qatar have signed a $393.6 million contract for the purchase of four C-130J Super Hercules airlifters plus training and spares. The package includes four aircraft, training of aircrew and maintenance technicians, spares, ground support and test equipment, and a team of technical specialists who will be based in Qatar during an initial support period.

U.S. Army Places $152 Million Order for 12 Additional Lockheed Martin EQ-36 Counterfire Target Acquisition Radars

The U.S. Army has exercised $152 million in contract options for 12 additional systems from Lockheed Martin in order to accelerate the fielding of the new Enhanced AN/TPQ-36 Counterfire Target Acquisition radar. The EQ-36 radars will detect, classify, track and determine the location of enemy indirect fire such as mortars, artillery and rockets in either 90-degree or 360-degree modes.

Lockheed Martin Receives Contract for Engineering Support for Spanish Government

Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems and Sensors is being awarded a $117.1 million, cost-plus-award-fee, fixed-fee contract for Aegis combat systems engineering to support the Government of Spain under the Foreign Military Sales program. Services will include the necessary combat systems engineering, computer program development, ship integration and test, logistics technical services and staging support to deliver a variant of the U.S. Navy Aegis Weapon System Cruiser Modernization Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Refresh 2 (CGM CR2) Computer Program and equipment to support the construction of the Spanish F-105 Frigate.

Lockheed Martin Awarded Contract to Produce Low-Cost Conformal Arrays for Navy

Lockheed Martin has received an $8.9 million contract from the U.S. Navy to produce and support low-cost conformal arrays (LCCAs) for use aboard submarines. The LCCA is a passive planar array mounted on the aft submarine sail structure and integrated with the Acoustic Rapid COTS Insertion (A-RCI) AN/BQQ-10 sonar system. It provides situational awareness and collision avoidance for improved tactical control in high-density shipping environments.

Lockheed Martin Wins Defense Agency Contract

Lockheed Martin has been selected by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) for a single award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide information technology modernization services. Three initial task orders were awarded and are valued at $62 million. Lockheed Martin will migrate DTRA's multiple legacy information technology architectures into a standard, flexible and central architecture. The company will also be responsible for design and engineering, knowledge management and usability engineering.

Lockheed Martin Wins $122 Million Technology Development Contract for Joint Air-To-Ground Missile Program

Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $122 million technology development contract for the Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) system. The next-generation missile will be carried on U.S. armed forces rotary-wing, fixed-wing and unmanned aerial system (UAS) platforms.

Lockheed Martin Corporation's Lockheed Aeronautics Company is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for $139 million. This action will enable the Air Vehicle Integration and Technology Research Program to conduct research to develop, demonstrate, integrate and transition new air vehicle technologies and prototypes that will provide affordable, revolutionary capabilities to the warfighter. The technology developments will provide for cost-effective, survivable air vehicle platforms capable of accurate delivery of weapons and cargo worldwide.

Lockheed Martin Selected for Navy C4ISR Systems Life Cycle Support Services

Lockheed Martin has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract by the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems life cycle support services. The three-year contract could be worth up to $189 million. Lockheed Martin will provide a range of services, including logistics planning, configuration management, system integration, system installations, technical documentation and technical field support.

Javelin Joint Venture Receives U.S. Army Contract

The Raytheon Company-Lockheed Martin Javelin Joint Venture received a $111.6 million U.S. Army Global War on Terror supplemental contract to produce additional Javelin missiles and command launch sites. Javelin is the world's first man-portable fire-and-forget medium-range missile system and is designed for one-soldier operations in all environments.

Lockheed Martin and Air Force Modify Contract for $97 Million

Lockheed Martin Space Systems is modifying a contract with the U.S. Air Force for $97 million. This is a modification to the existing space base infrared system high component engineering, manufacturing and development contract. Los Angeles Air Force Base is the contracting activity.
