U.S. Navy Modifies Submarine Acoustics Contract

Lockheed Martin Corp., Mission Systems and Training, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $124,531,317 modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-11-C-6294) for the development and production of the acoustic rapid commercial-off-the-shelf insertion (A-RCI) and common acoustics processing for Technology Insertion 12 (TI12) through Technology Insertion 14 (TI14) for the U.S. submarine fleet. A-RCI is a sonar system that integrates and improves towed array, hull array, sphere array, and other ship sensor processing, through rapid insertion of commercial off-the-shelf based hardware and software. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Receives GPS Contract Modification

Lockheed Martin Corp, Newton, Pa., has been awarded a $200,700,415 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification (P00276) on an existing contract (FA8807-08-C-0010) for GPS III space vehicles 05 and 06. The Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center Contracting Directorate, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin to Support Rocket Launcher Fire Control Systems

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded $17,658,738 firm-fixed-price contract for life cycle launcher support for Multiple Launch Rocket System High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) Launcher Module and HIMARS/m270a1 launcher fire control systems. Estimated completion date is June 30, 2014. Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal (Missile) Ala., is the contracting agency (W31P4Q-14-C-0057).

Lockheed Martin to Retrofit F-22s with Night Vision Capability

Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $19,763,075 option exercise (P0050) to an existing cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (FA8611-08-C-2897) to retrofit fielded mission training centers without the window visual systems upgrade and night vision goggles capability. Effort includes upgrades for F-22 training systems at Sheppard Air Force Base (AFB), Texas; Tyndall AFB, Fla.; Langley AFB, Va.; Hickam AFB, Hawaii, and Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Redondo Beach, Calif., has been awarded a $14,622,382 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (HR0011-14-C-0017) for the Endurance program. Lockheed Martin Mission Systems & Training, Akron, Ohio, has been awarded an $11,386,743 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (HR0011-14-C-0016). The contracting activity is the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington, Va.

U.S. Navy Procures Submarine Imaging Systems

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Manassas, Va., is being awarded an $8,847,668 modification to previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee contract (N00024-09-C-6247) to exercise an option to procure 20 AN/BVY-1 Integrated Submarine Imaging Systems (ISIS) and associated spares. The ISIS provides mission critical, all-weather, visual, and electronic search, digital image management, indication, warning, and platform architecture interface capabilities. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Receives Potential $199 Million for Antisubmarine System

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training, Liverpool, N.Y., was awarded a potential $199,123,412 fixed-price-incentive, firm-fixed-price, and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract on Sept. 26, 2013, for the production and support of TB-37/U Multi Function Towed Arrays (MFTA) for the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 Antisubmarine Warfare Combat Systems. The TB-37/U MFTA is the next generation passive and active sonar receiver. It affords several enhancements to the AN/SQR-19 Tactical Towed Array System allowing greater coverage, increased capability/reliability, and reduced obsolescence. The TB-37/U MFTA significantly contributes to the capability of surface ships to detect, localize and prosecute undersea threats and is a critical sensor to a combat systems suite. Lockheed Martin Awarded Nearly $96 Million for Undersea Warfare System

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training, Syracuse, N.Y., is being awarded a $95,727,501 modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-07-C-5201) for definitization of the Navy's fiscal 2012 AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 Surface Ship Undersea Warfare System production requirements and exercise of fiscal 2013 production options. The AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 is a surface ship combat system with the capabilities to search, detect, classify, localize and track undersea contacts; and to engage and evade submarines, mine-like small objects, and torpedo threats. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C., is the contracting activity.
