Lockheed Martin to Support Airborne Mine Countermeasures

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems & Training, Owego, N.Y., is being awarded $7,037,522 for firm-fixed-price delivery order #4090 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-09-G-0005) for ten organic airborne mine countermeasures technical insertion common console kits in support of the MH-60S program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Receives Airborne Mine Neutralization Modification

Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, Portsmouth, R.I., is being awarded a $7,900,098 modification under previously awarded contract to conduct a critical design review for Airborne Mine Neutralization System near surface capability. The Airborne Mine Neutralization System mission is designed to re-acquire, identify, and destroy volume, close tethered and bottom mines which have been previously detected, classified and localized by other means while operating from Littoral Combat Ship-based MH-60S helicopters. The Navy’s plan is to design solutions to extend performance to provide a capability against surface and near-surface moored mines. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington D.C., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Receives Funds for Airborne Mine Countermeasures

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Owego, N.Y., is being awarded a $9,088,594 firm-fixed-price and cost-reimbursement modification to a previously issued delivery order for additional airborne mine countermeasures test support and system development efforts in support of the MH-60S aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity. 

MZA to Design Helicopter Beam Director

MZA Associates Corporation, Albuquerque, New Mexico, is being awarded a $9,787,624 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for a Phase III Small Business Innovation Research project under topic N091-009, entitled "Tactical Beam Director for Airborne High Energy Laser Applications." This contract provides for the finalized design for the MH-60S helicopter beam director and beam control system, fabrication of all components, and integration into a high-power beam director and beam control system. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, California, is the contracting activity.

Enterprise Ventures to Support Airborne Mine Countermeasures

Enterprise Ventures Corporation, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a potential $31,969,022 firm-fixed-price contract for the production of 12 carriage, stream, tow, and recovery system kits in support of the Naval Air Systems Command, MH-60S Airborne Mine Countermeasures Program. The overall objectives of the program are to design, fabricate, test, and integrate a system for the carriage, stream, tow and recovery of all five airborne mine countermeasures sensors to support the organic mission of the MH-60S helicopter. Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division is the contracting activity.

Common Cockpit Contract Receives $1 Billion Modification

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Owego, New York, is being awarded a $1,049,932,426 modification to definitize a previously awarded MH-60R/MH-60S mission avionics system/common cockpit advance acquisition contract to a firm-fixed-price, multiyear contract. This modification provides for the procurement of fiscal years 2012-2016 MH-60R Lot 10-14 mission avionics systems and common cockpits; MH-60 S Lot 14-17 common cockpits; and MH-60R/S integrated logistic support. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

U.S. Navy Purchases MH-60S Targeting System

Raytheon System Company, McKinney, Texas, was recently awarded $9,840,000 firm-fixed-price contract for 10 multispectral targeting systems in support of Navy MH-60S helicopters. The multispectral targeting system provides long-range surveillance, high-altitude target acquisition, tracking, range-finding, and laser designation for the Hellfire missile, and for all tri-service and NATO laser-guided munitions. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana, is the contracting activity.

CAE USA Awarded MH-60S Flight Trainer Contract
