Lockheed to Install Scanned Array Radars on Taiwan’s F-16s

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $308,263,249 firm fixed price modification (P00005) to previously awarded contract FA8615-12-C-6016 to provide the government of Taiwan with 144 Active Electronically Scanned Array radars. Contractor will provide installation on F-16 aircraft and one year of supplier support in Taiwan. Work will be performed in Taiwan and is expected to be complete by Nov. 30, 2021. This contract is 100 percent foreign military sales. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

 

Lockheed to Fix F-16 Radar Interoperability Issue for Pakistan and Thailand

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $7,253,896 modification (P00068) to FA8615-07-C-6032 for F-16 production contracts. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $430,377,045. This modification incorporates a solution to solve a radar interoperability issue affecting F-16 aircraft produced for Pakistan and Thailand under the basic contract. Work will be performed at Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2016. The contract supports 100 percent foreign military sales for Thailand and Pakistan. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Iraq to Receive F-16 Electronic Warfare System

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded an $830,000,000 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to contract for additional production of 18 Iraq F-16 aircraft and associated support equipment, technical orders, integrated logistics support, contractor logistics support and an electronic warfare system. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity. 

Oman Picks Goodrich Reconnaissance Pods for F-16s

Goodrich Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems, Westford, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $34,300,000 firm fixed price and cost reimbursable contract for the procurement and deployment of four DB110 reconnaissance pod systems for use on the F-16 C/D Block 50/52 being purchased by the Royal Air Force of Oman. The contracting activity is Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

ITT to Provide Electronic Warfare Technology to Oman Royal Air Force

ITT Corporation, Clifton, New Jersey, is being awarded a $47,530,000 firm-fixed-price contract to procure 15 AN/ALQ-211(V); four airborne integrated defensive electronic warfare suites; and two sets of antenna couplers for support production. The effort is in support of the Royal Air Force Oman F-16 C/D model production aircraft. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity.

L-3 to Provide F-16 Mission Training Center

L-3 Communications Corporation, Link Simulation & Training, Arlington, Texas, is being awarded a $22,022,091 firm-fixed-price and firm-fixed-incentive, firm target contract for a fully immersive Block 40/50 F-16 Mission Training Center (MTC). Priced production options to buy up to 20 MTCs along with operations and contractor logistics support were also included. Lockheed to Update Morocco's Fighter Aircraft

L-3 to Provide Aircrew Trainer to Pakistan

L-3 Communications, Link Simulation and Training, Arlington, Texas, is being awarded a more than $20 million contract to provide the Pakistan air force one aircrew training system (ATS) to support pilot training. The ATS consists of two F-16 Block 52 aircrew training devices and the mission support systems with 18 panel "simusphere." It also includes a new F-16A Block 15/52 ATS; a new F-16C Block 52 ATS; 21 months contractor logistics support (12 months on-site and nine months on-call); common ATS Block 15 and Block 52 software load; high-fidelity cockpit; 360 horizontal X250; version MMC 7000 hardware and software; geo-specific database with high-resolution inputs; full APG-68 version nine radar with digital radar land mass simulation; full weapons simulation; Maverick missile; targeting pod; joint helmet mounted cueing system; threat environment A-G and spot jamming; emergency procedures and malfunctions; and an instructor-operator station. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Georgia Tech to Provide F-16 Countermeasures Set

Georgia Tech Applied Research Corporation, Atlanta, Georgia, is being awarded about $9 million for Foreign Military Sales Peace Drive II ALQ-211 (V) 9 integration. The AN/ALQ-213 countermeasures set (CMS) integrates electronic warfare suite functions by providing centralized control/resources management of the F-16 defensive suite.  The ALQ-213 CMS software will be tailored in this technical task to integrate the AN/ALQ-211 (V) 9 into the existing F-16 A/B MLU Peace Drive II electronic warfare suite. Enterprise Sourcing Group, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, is the contracting activity.
