L-3 to Provide Airborne Electronic Warfare Simulation

L-3 Communications Flight International, Newport News, Virginia, is being awarded a $29,066,774 contract modification for airborne threat simulation training for shipboard and aircraft squadron weapon systems operators and aircrew, to enhance abilities to counter potential enemy electronic warfare and electronic attack operations in an electronic combat environment. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

L-3 Supports Surveillance and Reconnaissance Aircraft

L-3 Communications Corporation, doing business as L-3 Communications Integrated Systems - Waco Platform Integration Division, Waco, Texas, is being awarded a $112,995,124 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to exercise an option for services in support of the P-3, EP-3, and NP-3 Sustainment Modification and Installation Program. This effort includes planned maintenance interval, structural replacement and fabrication efforts pertaining to special structural inspection kits, center wing assemblies, zone five kits, and outer wing installations and refurbishments. Four Governments Purchase Traveling Wave Tubes for MK-99

Communications and Power Industries, Palo Alto, California, is being awarded a $35,860,730 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for traveling wave tubes and associated data supporting the MK-99 Fire Control System. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy; the Missile Defense Agency; and under the Foreign Military Sales Program, the governments of Spain, Australia, and South Korea. This contract was not competitively procured. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana, is the contracting activity.

Northrop to Provide Fire Scout Logistics Support

Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $10,474,708 cost plus fixed fee contract for logistics in support of the Vertical Takeoff and Landing Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV) MQ-8B Fire Scout system. Logistic support services includes: logistics management, maintenance support, supply support, air vehicle transportation, training services, logistics management information, technical data updates, flight operations and deployment support. Harris to Provide Digital Maps to Four Countries

Harris Corporation, Government Communications Systems Division, Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded an approximate $8 million contract modification for the full rate production and support of 125 digital map computers for the U.S. Navy and the governments of Kuwait, Malaysia, and Finland. In addition, this modification provides for the procurement of 49 digital video map computers for the U.S. Navy and 52 extension housings for the governments of Kuwait, and Malaysia, in support of multiple aircraft platforms. The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
