Northrop Awarded $262 Million for Unmanned Vertical Take-off Vehicles

Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, San Diego, California, is being awarded an undefinitized contract action with a not-to -exceed ceiling of $262,336,248. The contract provides for the development, manufacture, and test of two vertical take-off and landing tactical unmanned aerial vehicles (VTUAVs); production of six air vehicles; and spare parts in support of the VTUAV endurance upgrade rapid deployment capability effort. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Frontier Systems to Upgrade Two Unmanned Helicopters

Frontier Systems, Irvine, California, has been awarded a nearly $14 million contract for the upgrade of two YMQ-18A unmanned helicopters to modified Block II configuration. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
