Airborne Electronic Attack Contract Modified

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded an $11,764,551 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N68936-11-D-0028) to provide additional engineering, technical and programmatic support services for development of products within the Airborne Electronic Attack Integrated Product Team; to include, EA-6B operational flight software, EA-6B unique planning component and EA-18G operational flight software. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Pt. Mugu, Calif., is the contracting activity.

Chesapeake Technology Researches Aircraft Flight Planning Algorithms

Chesapeake Technology International Corp., California, Md., is being awarded a $9,849,647 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity small business innovation research phase III contract under Topic N101-019, entitled “Algorithms for Dynamic 4D (3D space with time) Volumetric Calculations and Analysis.” The objective of this SBIR effort is to develop innovative software capabilities that can correctly and efficiently calculate the optimal flight path given the terrain data, aircraft position, flight characteristics, and positions of known threat emitters. This effort is in support of EA-6B Improved Capability III and EA-18G training and simulation products. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif., is the contracting activity. 

Northrop Awarded EA-6B Support Funds

Northrop Grumman Guidance and Electronics Company, Woodland Hills, California, is being awarded an $18,925,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to repair components of the AN/ANS-150 Navigation Systems and the NPN 217 Doppler System supporting the H-60 helicopter, and the AN/ASN-123 Navigation System supporting the EA-6B aircraft. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapons System Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.

Navy Modifies EA-6B Flight Simulator Contract

Chesapeake Technology International, California, Maryland, is being awarded a nearly $7 million contract modification to provide additional funding for system engineering services for test support, in-service engineering, fleet introduction, installation and checkout, and data requirements in support of the Improved Capability III EA-6B flight simulator and USQ-113 communication jamming and receiver simulation. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, California, is the contracting activity.
