Harris Corporation has been selected to supply Rugged Deployable Satellite Communications Terminals (RDSATs) to the U.S. Navy First Construction Division under a two-year, $30 million follow-on order. The new terminals, along with previously purchased terminals, will provide the Navy with advanced multiband satellite reach-back capabilities from around the globe to command centers in the U.S.

Harris Corporation Receives $18 Million Order From Air Force for Falcon III AN/PRC-117G Multiband Manpack Radios

Harris Corporation has received an $18 million order from the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command's Battlefield Air Operations office for the Harris Falcon III AN/PRC-117G wideband tactical radio system. The Air Force is acquiring the AN/PRC-117G to expand the use of high-bandwidth data applications.

Harris Corporation has been awarded two orders for tactical radio equipment totaling over $5 million from the Estonian Ministry of Defense (MOD). The orders include the new Falcon III RF-7800M-MP multiband high-capacity data radio as well as other Harris high-performance tactical communications systems.

Harris Awarded Study Contract to Develop Communications Architecture for Air Force Light-Weight Satellites

Harris Corporation has been awarded an eight-month study contract by the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, Sensors Directorate, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, to develop a new modular communications architecture for satellites that weigh less than 400 kilograms and can be deployed quickly and cost-effectively. The study will support the Operationally Responsive Space Office at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, with systems engineering, requirements analysis and concept development of an architecture whereby common components are able to support multiple payloads.

Harris Corporation Receives Orders for High-Capacity Line-of-Sight Radios

Harris Corporation has received a series of new orders totaling $6 million from the U.S. Defense Department for its RF-7800W high-capacity line-of-sight radio. Harris will deliver RF-7800W radios to the U.S. Army for use in a range of missions, including in support of the Multinational Division North Iraq. Separately, the U.S. Marine Corps is buying an additional quantity of RF-7800W radios as part of the wireless point-to-point system.

Harris Corporation Receives Navy Contract Modification for Shipboard Satellite Communications Terminals

Harris Corporation has been awarded a potential $37 million contract modification by the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego to supply additional multiband shipboard satellite communications terminals for the Navy's Arleigh Burke DDG-51 class of guided missile destroyers. Under the contract, Harris is responsible for systems integration, production and logistics support for the AN/WSC-6(V)9 Super High Frequency Multiband Shipboard Satellite Communications Terminal (MSSCT).

Harris Corporation Awarded $140 Million Order From National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

Harris Corporation has received a $140 million order to provide systems integration and information technology services to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Harris Corporation will provide core information technology and integration services to assist the NGA in its transition to a modern infrastructure service provider and an application service provider environment.
