General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded a five-year, $14.5 million contract to provide information assurance support to the U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC). Through the contract, General Dynamics will provide information assurance support, including information technology security policy and guidance, certification and accreditation, training and security engineering support to USARPAC.

The contract is valued at $10.9 million over a five-year period. General Dynamics will provide engineering solutions and network and information-system implementation and upgrades for DISA computing services.

Initially valued at $341 million, the competitively tendered five-year contract includes options to extend the support annually for up to five additional years, bringing the total potential contract value to $682 million.
