General Dynamics Canada Awarded $341 Million Support Contract for Canadian Army Communications System

General Dynamics Canada has been awarded a long-term support contract for the Canadian Army's Land Command Support System, ensuring troops will continue to have access to advanced communications services. Initially valued at $341 million, the competitively tendered five-year contract includes options to extend the support annually for up to five additional years, bringing the total potential contract value to $682 million.

General Dynamics NASSCO Awarded Design Contract for Mobile Landing Platform Ship

General Dynamics NASSCO has been awarded a $3.5 million design contract for the U.S. Navy's Mobile Landing Ship program. Under the contract, NASSCO will develop a preliminary ship design based on Navy requirements.

General Dynamics Awarded $95 Million Contract for U.S. Navy Information Fusion Center

The U.S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems a contract for research, development and operation of information fusion as it relates to the Information Fusion Center established by the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division to support U.S. Navy, U.S. Defense Department and U.S. Department of Homeland Security operations.
The contract has a maximum potential value of $95.2 million.

General Dynamics Awarded Enterprise IT Contract by Marine Corps

General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command to support the Marine Corps Enterprise IT Services (MCEITS) program. The single award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract is valued at $95 million if all options are exercised. Through the contract, General Dynamics will design, build and integrate the first MCEITS Enterprise IT Center, which provides application hosting capabilities, enterprise shared services, access to enterprise-wide information, collaboration and information sharing across business and warfighter domains.

Navy Awards $14 Billion Contract for Eight Virginia-Class Submarines

General Dynamics' wholly owned subsidiary, Electric Boats, and its teammate, Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding, have been awarded a contract valued at $14 billion by the U.S. Navy for the construction of eight Virginia-class submarines.

General Dynamics Awarded $10 Million Training Support Contract by Army

General Dynamics Information Technology has received a $9.9 million 18-month contract from the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) to support the Ordnance Mechanical Maintenance School at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. Through this contract, General Dynamics will provide Army-qualified, TRADOC-certified instructors to train Advanced Individual Training soldiers and professional development students on mechanical maintenance on tanks, small arms weapons, wheeled and tracked vehicles, trucks, generators, air conditioners and other equipment.

Bath Iron Works Awarded $46 Million Contract for DDG 1000 Services

Bath Iron Works, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, has been awarded a $45.8 million contract option from the U.S. Navy to provide services associated with the detail design and construction of the DDG 1000 Zumwalt-class destroyer. Bath Iron Works will continue to provide services for the DDG 1000 program, including configuration management and maintenance of class design products; program management; configuration and data management; system and ship integration services; production engineering services; and ship system segment management.

General Dynamics Awards Electronic Warfare Subsystem Contract to Lockheed Martin

General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems has awarded Lockheed Martin MS2 a contract valued at up to $36 million, including options for development and procurement of the High Gain, High Sensitivity (HGHS) subsystem. General Dynamics will integrate the HGHS subsystem into the U.S. Navy's Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program Block 1B3 upgrade, which currently is in development. Lockheed Martin will develop and procure the HGHS subsystem, including the topside antenna systems and the below-decks signal processor as well as the processing algorithms that accompany the processor.
