General Dynamics Awarded $64 Million for Tank Upgrades

General Dynamics has received a $63.7 million contract from the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command Life Cycle Management Command to upgrade 180 tanks under the Abrams Improved Systems Enhancement Package (SEP) Reset program. As part of the reset program, M1A2 SEP Version One tanks are upgraded to the SEP Version Two configuration, which includes improved displays, sights, power and a tank-infantry phone.

General Dynamics Electric Boat Corporation to Provide Services and Support for Active Nuclear Submarines

General Dynamics Electric Boat Corporation is being awarded a $286 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for design agent, planning yard, engineering and technical support for active nuclear submarines. This contract includes options that could bring the cumulative value of the contract to an estimated $1.8 billion. The contract provides for drawings and related technical data; design change documentation; logistics technical data; configuration management; hull, mechanical and electrical engineering; submarine safety design review; non-propulsion plant electrical system engineering; information services; on-site support; configuration change program design and installation support; configuration change program material support; submarine technical trade support; modernization of submarine/submersible systems/subsystems; and other services.

General Dynamics Awarded $58 Million for Engineering Work on Saudi Tank

General Dynamics Land Systems has been awarded $58.3 million to design the new Saudi M1A2 (M1A2S) Abrams tank for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Foreign Military Sales contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command Life Cycle Management Command for the Royal Saudi Land Forces. General Dynamics will design, develop, convert, implement and test a hybrid configuration of the M1A1, M1A2 and M1A2 System Enhancement Package tank variants for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

General Dynamics European Land Systems Awarded Contract for EAGLE IV 4x4 Vehicles for Germany

General Dynamics European Land Systems as entered a contract with Bundesamt für Wehrtechnik und Beschaffung, a German company, for the delivery of 198 EAGLE IV protected command and function vehicles. The contract has a total value of approximately $141 million.

General Dynamics Awarded $13 Million to Continue Developing Maritime Air and Missile Defense Planning System

General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems has been awarded a contract valued at up to $13.5 million for engineering services in support of the Maritime Integrated Air and Missile Defense Planning System, a successor to the Area Air Defense Commander Capability. MIPS is an operational-level planning tool designed to help the Joint Force Maritime Component Commander rapidly analyze and optimize alternatives for defeating current or projected air and missile threats.

General Dynamics Awarded $183 Million Contract for Integrated Logistics Support to Naval Air Systems Command

General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded a contract for integrated logistics support for foreign military sales. The Naval Air Systems Command awarded the five-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, which has a total potential value of $183 million if all options are exercised. General Dynamics will provide logistics, technical program management, configuration management, financial management, acquisition and administrative support to the Naval Aviation Foreign Military Sales programs. General Dynamics also will assist with program planning, requirements determination, site activation, transportation and delivery, acquisition and tracking of procurement items.

General Dynamics Awarded $7.5 Million Navy Contract for Satellite Engineering Services

General Dynamics C4 Systems has been awarded a $7.5 million U.S. Navy Systems contract to provide engineering services for military satellite command and control at the Naval Satellite Operations Center (NAVSOC) headquarters; the Satellite Operations Center in Point Mugu, California; and its facilities in Colorado, Maine and Guam. The contract has a total potential value of $57 million over seven years if all options are exercised.

General Dynamics Awarded $26 Million Contract to Support Switzerland's F/A-18 Hornet Fleet

General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded a contract to provide program management services for the Swiss government's F/A-18 Hornet fighter fleet. The five-year contract was awarded to General Dynamics by the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command and has a total potential value of $25.7 million if all options are exercised. Under this contract, General Dynamics will provide logistics, information technology and engineering support for global Swiss F/A-18 Hornet operations. Additionally, General Dynamics will provide communications management and training services to support the Swiss F/A-18 Hornet fleet.

General Dynamics Awarded $9 Million to Continue Developing Navy Common Network Interface

General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems has been awarded a $9.2 million contract with the U.S. Navy to continue developing the common network interface (CNI) system, a software package that improves situational awareness for expeditionary strike group (ESG) commanders. The contract could be worth up to $28.9 million if all options are exercised.

General Dynamics Receives $27 Million in Information Technology Services Contracts

General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded three Seaport-e task orders by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), in Philadelphia. The contracts have a total potential value of $26.7 million if all options are exercised. Under the contracts, General Dynamics will provide information technology engineering and professional services for the Smart Carrier program and additional NSWCCD initiatives. General Dynamics will provide testing and installation of new machinery control monitoring systems, including distributed data and control networks and navigation and ship control systems as well as engineering, system analysis and program support for navigation and integrated bridge control systems such as antenna, sail, radar, microwave and electrical systems.
