Northrop Grumman Awarded Southwest Asia Support Services Contract

Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded a contract under the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command Rapid Response program to provide support services at multiple locations in Southwest Asia. The Support Services at U.S. Air Forces Central Installations task order is valued at almost $37 million over one base year and one option year.

Northrop Grumman Awarded Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System Contract

The U.S. Army has awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation a contract for Phase 1 of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) program. IBCS will provide air and missile defense warfighters the advantage of full situational understanding and the tools needed to effectively carry out their mission. The 11-month contract is valued at $15 million. IBCS will establish a network-centric system-of-systems solution for integrating sensors, shooters and battle management, command, control, communications and intelligence systems for Army air and missile defense.

Northrop Grumman Wins $125 Million Contract for Airborne Electronic Attack Systems

Northrop Grumman Corporation has received a firm-fixed-price, 31-month contract from the U.S. Navy for additional improved capability III airborne electronic attack systems for its fleet of EA-6B Prowlers. The contract has a potential value of more than $125 million.

Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center to provide technical support for the operational Defense Support Program spacecraft, primary infrared sensor and mission analysis. The cost-plus-award-fee contract is valued at $206 million if all options are exercised.

Northrop Grumman Receives $120 Million Order to Supply LITENING Gen 4 Targeting Sensor Systems

Northrop Grumman Corporation has received a $120 million contract order for delivery of LITENING Gen 4 targeting and sensor systems and related equipment to support the Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve Command and the U.S. Marine Corps. The order was the first Gen 4 award under an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract by the 647th Aeronautical Systems Squadron, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

Raytheon Team to Provide Navy with Precision Aircraft Carrier Landing System

Raytheon Company has received a $232.8 million contract for the system development and demonstration phase of the global positioning system-based Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS) program for shipboard applications. JPALS provides all-weather shipboard landing capability to assist the U.S. Navy with pinpoint landing accuracy on aircraft carriers. The team, led by Raytheon Network Centric Systems, includes Rockwell Collins, Northrop Grumman and SAIC. The Raytheon team's solution for JPALS improves safety, lowers the total cost of ownership during the program's life cycle and provides greater flexibility and efficiency.

Northrop Grumman Receives Contract for New Air Vehicle Technologies

Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation's Integrated Systems Sector is receiving an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for $139 million. This action will enable the Air Vehicle Integration and Technology Research Program to conduct research to develop, demonstrate, integrate and transition new air vehicle technologies and prototypes that will provide affordable, revolutionary capabilities to the warfighter. The technology developments will provide for cost-effective, survivable air vehicle platforms capable of accurate delivery of weapons and cargo worldwide.

Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems Wins Air Traffic Control Communications Contract in Canada

Northrop Grumman Corporation's Europe-based subsidiary, Park Air Systems, has been awarded a contract by NAV CANADA, Canada's civil air navigation services provider, for the supply of VHF radios as part of an extensive $50 million replacement program. NAV CANADA will replace all ground-to-air VHF radio equipment in 320 sites across Canada. More than 2,000 pairs of radios in total will be replaced with new PAE T6 multi-mode digital radios, which will improve ground-to-air communications throughout Canada, introducing higher power capabilities and advanced remote maintenance monitoring.

Northrop Grumman Awarded Modification for Air Vehicle Units

Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation's integrated systems sector has received a $33 million not-to-exceed modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of three low-rate initial production vertical takeoff and landing tactical unmanned aerial vehicle air vehicle units. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman Awarded $5.1 Billion Contract for Detail Design and Construction of Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) Aircraft Carrier

Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded a $5.1 billion, seven-year, cost-plus-incentive-fee contract award for detail design and construction of the Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. The company's shipbuilding sector will perform the work, which includes ship construction, ship design activities, engineering services, procurement of materials and hardware to support construction, and logistics activities.
