Northrop Grumman Awarded Army Biometric Intelligence Resource Contract

Northrop Grumman has been awarded a $36.9 million cost-plus-award-fee contract from the U.S. Army to enhance the capabilities of the Biometric Intelligence Resource system, which uses biometric data such as fingerprints, facial recognition or iris scans to identify and track individuals of interest in the Global War on Terrorism.

Northrop Grumman Awarded Army Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Contract

Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract by the U.S. Army to provide simulation and training products to U.S. and coalition forces. The Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Omnibus Contract II is a multiple-award contract with a ceiling value of $17.5 billion over 10 years.

Northrop Grumman Selected for Future Combat Systems Development Contract

Northrop Grumman Corporation has been selected by General Dynamics Robotic Systems to supply the navigation system solution for the Phase II Global Positioning System (GPS)/Inertial Navigation System (INS), a major component of the Autonomous Navigation System (ANS) for the U.S. Army's Future Combat Systems (FCS) program. Under this $10.7 million contract, Northrop Grumman's navigation solution will provide the navigation system inputs for the ANS.

Air Force Awards Lockheed Martin-Led Team $75 Million Contract Extention

Northrop Grumman Awarded Navy Contract for Shipboard Interrogator Sets

Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded a $16 million contract from the U.S. Navy for production of five additional AN/UPX-24(V) interrogator sets for the U.S. Navy and the Australian Navy. The AN/UPX-24(V) is a shipboard identification-friend-or-foe (IFF) processor system that is used to identify aircraft or ships equipped with an IFF transponder.

Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract from the U.S. Air Force for $276 million for operations and maintenance support of the RQ-4 Global Hawk unmanned reconnaissance aircraft. Northrop Grumman will provide such services as ongoing engineering, data and configuration management, global supply chain management, technical data and field services, and maintenance.

Northrop Grumman Awarded Department of the Interior IT Support Contract

The U.S. Department of the Interior has awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation a contract to maintain and support the information technology infrastructure for the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) 200 offices and more than 12,500 employees across the United States. The contract has an estimated value of $56 million, based upon a full performance of all anticipated task orders for the one base year and six one-year extensions.

Northrop Grumman Wins Contract to Provide Software Engineering Support to the Army

Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded a delivery order to provide software engineering support to the Headquarters, U.S. Army, Europe and Seventh Army for mission critical defense systems, including command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) systems serving U.S. Army, Joint, Coalition and North Atlantic Treaty Organization operations. The delivery order has a potential value of $71.2 million over three years.

Northrop Grumman Awarded $374 Million Construction Preparation Contract for Second Gerald R. Ford-Class Aircraft Carrier

Northrop Grumman Corporation has received a $374 million cost-type contract award for construction preparation of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier CVN 79. The carrier, which has yet to be been named, is the second ship of the Gerald R. Ford class. The company's shipbuilding sector will perform the work, which includes design efforts, planning and the procurement of long lead-time material such as propulsion machinery.
