Rockwell to Upgrade E-6B Trainer

Rockwell Collins Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded an $11,916,219 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-13-C-0004) for the upgrade of the E-6B Mercury Weapon System Trainer. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Rockwell Collins to Provide E-6B Modification Kits

Rockwell Collins Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $46,582,848 modification to previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-13-C-0004) to exercise an option for the manufacture and installation of two Block I modification aircraft kits including Internet Protocol Bandwidth Expansion Phase III and very low frequency transmit terminals (VTT) for the E-6B aircraft. In addition, this contract includes the manufacture and installation of four VTT retrofit modification kits in support of the low rate initial production E-6B aircraft, field support, differences training, software licenses and agreements, and updates to an operational flight trainer. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Andromeda Systems to Provide Naval-wide Aviation Software

Andromeda Systems Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $7,700,000 ceiling-priced, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the delivery of software tools in support of maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution (MPS&E); the integration of MPS&E software across the Naval Aviation Enterprise; and technical support and maintenance associated with MPS&E software. These software tools originated with the E-6B aircraft and will now be developed for Naval Aviation Enterprise-wide usage. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (N61340-13-D-0006). 

Rockwell to Provide Radio Equipment for Super Stallion and Prowler

Rockwell Collins Incorporated, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a more than $9 contract modification to provide AN/ARC-210(V) electronic radio and ancillary equipment for CH-53E CNS/ATM. The contract provides for 54 RT-1851A(C)/ARC receiver-transmitters and 54 C-12561A/ARC control, radio sets. The contract will also provide for AN/ARC-210(V) electronic radio and ancillary equipment for the E-6B in the following quantities: 22 C-12561A/ARC control, radio sets; 36 MT-4935/ARC mounting bases; 36 MT-7006/ARC amplifier mounts; 44 AM-7526/ARC high-power amplifiers; and 44 RT-1939(C)/ARC receiver-transmitters. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
