U.S. Special Forces Command Awards Potential $190 Million Unmanned Aircraft System Contract

Insitu Inc., Bingen, Wash., has been awarded a $1,000,000 minimum - $190,000,000 maximum, twenty-five month, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) support to U.S. Special Operations Command. The contract is for the Mid-Endurance Unmanned Aircraft System (MEUAS) ISR service using contractor-owned and contractor-operated equipment. The work will be performed in Bingen, Wash., and overseas. U.S. Special Operations Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity.

FLIR Systems Awarded Special Operations Contract

FLIR Systems Incorporated, North Billerica, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $24,625,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for new production or retrofit of AN/ZSQ-3 (V1 Assault) and AN/ZSQ-3 (V2 Attack), Electro-Optic Sensor Systems with laser rangefinder/designator units for the MH-6M assigned to the Special Operations Aviation Regiment at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, in support of the Technology Applications Contracting Office. U.S. Special Operations Command is the contracting activity.

Three Firms Receive $362 Million from U.S. Special Forces Command

Booz Allen Hamilton Incorporated, McLean, Virginia; Dell Services Federal Government, Perot Systems Government Services Incorporated, Fairfax, Virginia; and DRS Technical Services Incorporated, Herndon, Virginia, were each awarded a $362 million, multiple-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with firm-fixed-price and cost-plus fixed-fee line items for Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contracts (SITEC) specialty services in support of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), which is the contracting activity. Under the SITEC Specialty Services contract, the contractor will assist the government in performing the daily operations necessary to facilitate the command's ongoing ability to effectively and efficiently optimize delivery and performance of specialty services to sustain and maintain global enterprise information technology specialty services environment.
