SAIC Awarded Force Protection Contract

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC), McLean, Va., was awarded a $33,003,618 modification under a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N39430-13-C-1201) to exercise option period one for anti-terrorism/force protection global sustainment at Navy regions, worldwide. The work to be performed provides for preventative and corrective maintenance, repair and replacement, service calls, and systems/software upgrades for anti-terrorism/force protection ashore equipment. The total contract amount after exercise of this option will be $60,169,948. The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, Calif., is the contracting activity. 

Three Firms Awarded Force Protection Contract

Alutiiq Pacific LLC, Anchorage, Alaska; Securityhunter Inc., Baltimore, Md.; and Split Pine Technologies LLC, Tallahassee, Fla., are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract for physical security access control at Navy shore installations throughout the world, including joint bases assigned to the Navy. The maximum dollar value including the base period and two option years for all three contracts combined is $99 million. The work to be performed provides for the design, procurement, installation, integration, testing and initial training for anti-terrorism force protection (ATFP) hardware and software at Navy shore installations throughout the world, including joint bases assigned to the Navy.  Securityhunter Inc., is being awarded task order (#0001) at $2,698,396 for the design, procurement installation, integration, testing and initial training for ATFP hardware and software of the General Enclave and Automated Vehicle Gate Low Volume Reeves Gate at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Lemoore, Calif. All work on this contract will be performed at Navy shore installations throughout the world, including joint bases assigned to the Navy. The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, Calif., is the contracting activity. 

SAIC to Support Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Ashore Program Systems

Science Applications International Corp., McLean, Va., is being awarded a potential $74,398,851firm-fixed-price contract for global sustainment of Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Ashore Program Systems and associated equipment and software at 66 military installations worldwide. The work to be performed provides for preventive and corrective maintenance to sustain all Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Ashore Systems, associated equipment and software. This includes providing centralized comprehensive life cycle sustainment support for all of the hardware, software/firmware and cabling or other signal/data transmission sub-systems necessary for the systems to function as intended. Service call management is also included as part of this requirement. The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, Calif., is the contracting activity.

Multiple Firms to Support Anti-Terrorism Efforts in National Capitol Region

BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services Incorporated, Rockville, Maryland; Honeywell Technology Solutions Incorporated, Columbia, Maryland; L-3 Services Incorporated, dba C2S2, Mount Laurel, New Jersey; M.C. Dean Incorporated, Dulles, Virginia; ManTech International Corporation, Lexington Park, Maryland; Science Applications International dba SAIC, McLean, Virginia; and VT Milcom Incorporated, Virginia Beach, Virginia are each being awarded a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, performance-based contract that utilizes fixed-price task orders for the procurement of security engineering support services, which support the operational requirements of high-value Navy and other government activities where security is of high or vital interest located in the National Capitol Region. The services required will include systems engineering, analysis, development, acquisition, integration, installation, testing, software development and maintenance, and integrated logistical support for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Systems. Each contractor will be awarded $3,571 at the time of award. These contracts include options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of these contracts to an estimated $224.9 million. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, South Carolina, is the contracting activity.

Chenega to Provide Outpost Surveillance Systems
