Nine Firms to Support Space and Missile Defense Command

Analytical Services Inc.; COLSA Corp.; Engineering Research and Consulting Inc.; DMD; Quantum Research International Inc.; Radiance Technologies Inc.; Sigmatech Inc.; System Studies and Simulation Inc.; and Warfighter Solutions LLC, all of Huntsville, Ala., were awarded a $997 million cost-plus-fixed-fee, multiple-award-task-order contract between nine contractors. The award will provide for the systems engineering and technical assistance services in support of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command. The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, is the contracting activity.

Harris Supports Counter-Narcotics Operations

Harris Corporation, RF Communications Division, Rochester, New York, was awarded a $37,974,251 firm-fixed-price contract for the tactical communication services and equipment in support of counternarcotics operations. The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

Northrop to Support Integrated Base Defense in U.S. and Iraq

Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems, Herndon, Virginia, was awarded a more than $7 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, which is an extension to continue services for the Integrated Base Defense System of Systems support and sustainment effort. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama; Balad, Iraq; Fort Irwin, California; Fort Polk, Louisiana, and Dominguez Hills, California, with an estimated completion date of October 31, 2011. The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Redstone, Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
