Raytheon to Integrate Joint Standoff Weapon System Software

Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $12,703,078 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement for the development and integration of the joint standoff weapon AGM-154C-1 into the F/A-18E/F aircraft's H10E operational flight program software. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Boeing to Support Fighter Jet Radar Radomes

The Boeing Company, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $12,002,634 firm-fixed-price delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement for supplies and services associated with Engineering Change Proposal 6038 for the F/A-18E/F aircraft. Supplies include 42 R2/R3 retrofit kits for the AN/APG-79 active electronically scanned array radar domes. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Raytheon to Replace F/A-18E/F Radar System

Raytheon Company, Space and Airborne Systems, El Segundo, California, is being awarded a $45,252,160 contract modification for the procurement of 16 AN/APG-79 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars to be retrofitted into F/A-18E/F aircraft, lots 26-29. The AN/APG-79 AESA radar, which will replace the APG-73 radar, will provide increased air-to-air detection and track range, increased air-to-ground targeting capabilities, longer launch range for standoff weapons, enhanced capability against advanced threats, and optimized utilization of the aircraft's weapon systems contributing to the F/A-18E/F's survivability. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

GD to Provide Advanced Computers for U.S. and Australian Fighter Jets

General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, Bloomington, Minnesota, is being awarded a $20,585,146 contract modification to exercise an option for the full-rate production of 80 Type 3 Advanced Mission Computers (AMC) for the Navy F/A-18E/F and E/A-18G aircraft. In addition, this modification provides for the procurement of three Type-3 AMC spares for the Royal Australian Air Force. This modification combines purchases for the U.S. Navy and the government of Australia under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
