BAE to Provide Target Recognition Technology

BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services Inc., Rockville, Maryland, is being awarded a $10,737,652 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the design, development, integration, test and evaluation, installation, fielding, certification, maintenance and logistics support of the cooperative identification, non-cooperative target recognition, air traffic control equipment, systems and subsystems. These efforts are in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Identification Systems Division. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00421-14-C-0040).

Missile Defense Agency Awards Focal Plane Array Contract

BAE Systems Incorporated of Nashua, New Hampshire, was awarded a $9,404,964 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for 512×512 two-color high speed Digital Focal Plane Arrays (DFPAs). The contract provides for development and demonstration of 512×512 two-color high speed DFPAs for missile defense, offering a combination of high resolution, high frame rate and advanced digital processing functionality. BAE will deliver five DFPAs of the Baseline Development Run and three DFPAs of the Baseline Process Verification Run to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) for additional testing, a set of interface electronics and a user guide to facilitate testing. Options work will also include an updated read-out integrated circuit design, leveraging available results from the base program and verification of DFPA design compliance to MDA’s High Altitude Exoatmospheric Nuclear Survivability Standard. This contract was a competitive acquisition under the MDA Broad Agency Announcement for Advanced Technology Innovation, HQ0147-11-ATI-BAA. BAE Supports Common Missile Warning System

BAE Systems, Nashua, New Hampshire, was awarded a $7,145,241 modification (P00015) to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (W58RGZ-13-C-0049) for logistics in support of the Common Missile Warning System. The Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

BAE Systems Electronic Solutions, Nashua, N.H., is being awarded a $47,352,248 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity delivery order contract for the manufacture of the transmitter countermeasures T-1687A/ALE-70 (V) in support of the Joint Strike Fighter program. The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Mechanicsburg, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00104-14-D-K054).

BAE to Provide Friend or Foe Identification Technology to Four Nations

BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration (IESI) Inc., Greenlawn, N.Y., is being awarded a $16,472,873 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of Common Identification Friend or Foe hardware for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and the governments of Korea, Taiwan, and the United Arab Emirates, including transponders, remote control units, mounts, power supplies; chasses, displays, repairs, and modification kits. U.S. Army Procures Common Missile Warning System
