The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has awarded 11 contracts totaling $6.6 billion as part of its Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise, or SITE. The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracts will last five years and extend across the defense intelligence enterprise and the intelligence community.

BAE Systems has received a contract worth up to $347 million to provide U.S. Army soldiers with handheld laser target locators.

BAE Systems will provide thermal weapon sights to the U.S. Army under a $137 million contract that continues production of the widely used infrared sensors. These second-generation thermal sights are lighter, quieter, and use less power than the first generation sights, reducing the load on soldiers and decreasing requirements for battery power.
