Raytheon Company has been awarded $27 million for engineering services for the Patriot Air and Missile Defense System. This contract provides for engineering services that support Patriot systems in the hands of the U.S. Army and Raytheon's 11 international partners.

Air Force Awards Raytheon Contract for Laser-Guided Maverick Missile

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Raytheon Company a contract to upgrade guidance and control sections for the air-to-ground Maverick missile. The contract initiates engineering efforts required to restart the laser-guided Maverick production line and will incorporate state-of-the-art laser-seeker technology. The contract will result in the upgrade of up to 450 laser Maverick guidance sections for the U.S. Air Force and Navy.

Raytheon Awarded Phase 3 Contract for Stand-Off Radiation Detection System

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded Raytheon Company a phase three contract to continue development of a Stand-Off Radiation Detection System. Phase three is an 8-month contract for $2.3 million managed by DHS's Domestic Nuclear Detection Office; it includes the construction of a prototype.

Air Force Awards Raytheon Contract for Missile Production

The U.S. Air Force is awarding an undefinitized-with-firm-fixed-price contract to Raytheon Missile Systems for an amount not to exceed $23 million. This action provides for production quantities of 70 Maverick Missiles and 1Guidance and Control Section for a Maverick Missile.

Raytheon Awarded $106 Million for Joint Standoff Weapon C-1 Production

The U.S. Navy has awarded Raytheon Company a $106 million contract for production of the Joint Standoff Weapon C-1 (JSOW). The JSOW is a family of low-cost air-to-ground weapons that employs an integrated Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System that guides the weapon to the target. JSOW C-1 adds moving maritime target capability and a two-way data link to the combat-proven JSOW.
