Raytheon Receives Satellite Communications Contract

Raytheon, Intelligence and Information Systems, Defense and Civil Missions Solutions, Sterling Va., was awarded an $11,971,245 firm-fixed-price contract for sustainment services supporting the Military Satellite Communications System (MILSATCOM) Global Broadcast System (GBS). This contract provides for operational capability and will sustain uninterrupted GBS to garrisoned and deployed warfighters in the form of mission-essential data and streaming products. The Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F8823-14-C-0001).

Raytheon Receives Two Cooperative Engagement Capability Contracts

Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, St. Petersburg Fla., was awarded a $32,832,550 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00024-13-C-5212) for Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) design agent and engineering services. CEC is a sensor netting system that significantly improves battle force anti-air warfare capability by extracting and distributing sensor-derived information such that the superset of this data is available to all participating CEC units. CEC improves battle force effectiveness by improving overall situational awareness and by enabling longer range, cooperative, multiple, or layered engagement strategies. This contract includes options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $236,663,164. Raytheon Network Centric Systems, Largo, Fla., was awarded a $7,307,299 cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00024-13-C-5230) for Cooperative Engagement Capability Common Array Block (CAB) family of antennas. This contract includes a system requirements review/system functional review; a preliminary design review; and a critical design review and initial production of two versions of the CAB antenna. The CAB-Surface will be utilized on surface ships and the CAB Expeditionary will be utilized for U.S. Marine Corps Composite Tracking Network. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity for both awards. 

Raytheon to Provide Multispectral Targeting Technology

Raytheon, McKinney, Texas, was awarded a $50,150,434 basic ordering agreement (FA8620-11-G-4050) for 37 Multispectral Targeting System (MTS)-B Turret units, 37 MTS HD electronics units, associated containers, MTS-B initial shop replaceable unit/spares, and support equipment. Work will be performed at McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2014. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2013 procurement funds in the amount of $50,150,434 are being obligated at time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

MDA Awards Raytheon $230 Million Modification

The Raytheon Co., Woburn, Mass., is being awarded a $230 million modification under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract HQ0006-08-D-0003. This modification exercises an option under the existing contract for operation and sustainment efforts of the X-Band radar in support of the Missile Defense Agency's Sensors Program. The Missile Defense Agency, in Huntsville, Ala. is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Receives F/A-18 E/F Radar Award

Raytheon Co., El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded $39,000,000 for firm-fixed-price delivery order 0048 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-10-G-0006) for the procurement of 15 AN/APG-79 AESA radar systems for the F/A-18 E/F aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon to Provide Miniaturized GPS Receivers to Allies

Raytheon Co., Space and Airborne Systems, El Segundo Calif., was awarded a $38,634,619 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for supplies and services necessary for the production and sustainment of the miniaturized airborne Global Positioning Systems receiver 2000-S24 (MAGR 2000-S24). This contract involves foreign military sales to North Atlantic Treaty Organization and other allied countries. The Space and Missile Systems Center, Global Positioning Systems Directorate, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (FA8807-13-D-0001).

Raytheon to Support Air Traffic Navigation Systems

Raytheon Co., Marlborough, Mass., was awarded a $79,300,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, non-option-eligible, multi-year services contract to provide technical support services to assist the Product Management Office for Air Traffic Control Systems and the Communication-Electronics Command, Logistics Readiness Center with life cycle management support for 39 air traffic navigation, integration and coordination systems and 21 fixed-base precision approach radar systems and equipment. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen, Md., is the contracting activity (W15P&T-13-D-E023).

Raytheon to Provide Thermal Sight Systems to Saudi Arabia

This is a FMS to Saudi Arabia. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Tank and Automotive, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.
