Rear Adm. John N. Christenson, USN, will be assigned as chief of staff, U.S. European Command, Stuttgart, Germany.

Breedlove Nominated for Supreme Allied Commander

President Obama has nominated Gen. Philip M. Breedlove, USAF, for assignment as supreme allied commander, Europe and commander, U.S. European Command. The North Atlantic Council approved the appointment of Gen. Breedlove as supreme allied commander, Europe.

Crawford Assigned to Cyber/C4, U.S. European Command

Brig. Gen. Bruce T. Crawford, USA, has been assigned as director, J-6, Cyber/C4, U.S. European Command, Germany.

ITT Awarded $159 Million for IT Support Abroad

ITT Systems Corporation, Colorado Springs, Colorado, was awarded a $159,538,880 cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price contract to provide for the information technology support services to U.S. Army Europe, U.S. European Command, and U.S. Africa Command. Work will be performed in Germany, Italy, and Balkans, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2016. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Fort Huachuca, Arizona, is the contracting activity.
