Alion Awarded Task Order Worth $2 Million for Naval Shock and Vibration Engineering Design and Testing

Alion Science and Technology has been awarded a task order with a value of nearly $2 million to provide technical expertise on shock and vibration testing and design for the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC). Alion will conduct underwater explosion shock and vibration testing for Navy ship programs such as the DDG 1000. This includes supplying subject matter expertise in establishing, implementing, monitoring and enforcing shock and vibration requirements related to ongoing ship design and construction programs that NSWC supports. DDG 1000 is the first in a class of the U.S. Navy's multi-mission surface combatants tailored for the littoral, air and subsurface warfare.

Alion Awarded $77 Million Contract for Repair Parts-on-Demand Technology and Services

Alion Science and Technology has been awarded a contract worth up to $77 million to develop just-in-time solutions for military vehicle, aircraft and equipment parts and systems. Alion will develop and deliver solutions to facilitate the return of the equipment to service and may re-engineer essential parts to reduce costs and give the equipment a longer useful life.

Alion Awarded $12 Million Contract to Provide Navy Logistics Management Services

Alion Science and Technology Incorporated has received a $12 million contract to provide operational logistics analysis to the Naval Operational Logistics Support Center (NOLSC). Alion will support NOLSC in testing operational logistics concepts and providing system-centric training to deployable units in the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard. Alion will conduct analyses to help address capability, manning, training and budget issues.

Alion Wins Navy Contract to Enhance Ship Design Programs with Software Development Services

Alion Science and Technology has been awarded a $31 million five-year contract from the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) to provide information technology and software development expertise in support of Navy ship design programs. Alion will help the NSWCCD expand its Advanced Ship and Submarine Evaluation Tool and enhance the center's Leading Edge Architecture for Prototyping Systems software application.

Alion Wins Air Force Contract to Support Electronic Warfare Planning and Development

Alion Science and Technology has received a U.S. Air Force contract worth a total ceiling value of $8.6 million to assess shortfalls in future weapons systems and to plan, develop and analyze Air Force electronic warfare (EW) capabilities. Alion will provide the Air Force Materiel Command and Air Force EW Life Cycle Management Group with EW research and associated technical analysis to enable capability planning, development analysis and sustainment.

Alion Awarded Contract for Acquisition and Design Support of Navy's CG(X)

Alion Science and Technology has been awarded a contract to support the U.S. Navy in managing the design and acquisition of the Navy's next generation guided missile cruiser, CG(X). The award has a potential value of $127.8 million over five years. CG(X) will be a highly capable major surface combatant tailored for joint air and missile defense and joint air control operations providing airspace dominance and protection to joint forces operating in the Seabase.

Alion Wins $38 Million Contract to Provide Anti-submarine Warfare Training Systems for Naval Air Warfare Center

Alion Science and Technology has won a $38 million, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide personal computer-based, integrated anti-submarine warfare training systems for the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division in Orlando, Florida. Alion will support the continued development of Mission Rehearsal Tactical Team Trainer technologies for the SH-60B and SH-60F Navy helicopters.

Alion Wins Contract to Support Department of Homeland Security's Information Sharing Capabilities

Alion Science and Technology has received a one-year contract worth up to $1.84 million from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate to support critical cross-agency information sharing capabilities within and between DHS agencies. Alion will provide program management, systems integration, analysis, exercise development, and support, test and evaluation of information sharing technologies.

Alion Science and Technology will Provide Technical Support to U.S. Army for Battle Command Training

Alion Science and Technology has received a $14 million contract, Modeling and Simulation Technical and Operational Reinforcement, to provide guidance and technical support to the U.S. Army III Corps Battle Command Training Branch at Fort Hood, Texas. Alion will develop a digital battle command system, digital exercise architectures and training plans.
