Alion Science and Technology Incorporated has received a $12 million contract to provide operational logistics analysis to the Naval Operational Logistics Support Center (NOLSC). Alion will support NOLSC in testing operational logistics concepts and providing system-centric training to deployable units in the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard. Alion will conduct analyses to help address capability, manning, training and budget issues.

The award has a potential value of $127.8 million over five years. CG(X) will be a highly capable major surface combatant tailored for joint air and missile defense and joint air control operations providing airspace dominance and protection to joint forces operating in the Seabase.

Alion will support the continued development of Mission Rehearsal Tactical Team Trainer technologies for the SH-60B and SH-60F Navy helicopters.
